Double layered Cheesecake
This is a wonderful cheesecake that my dad made every holiday since I was a kid. He had to get this recipe from a hotel that would close in Missouri in the 1950s. His mother assured him and I used to impress my friends for years. I hope you like it.
40 minutes
10 servings
material
- 2 blocks of cream cheese
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons vanilla
- 1 glass of sugar
- 16 ounces cream
- 2 graham crackers
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350 ° F
- Layer 1: Mix 2 blocks of cream cheese, 2 eggs, 1 tablespoon vanilla and 1/2 cup sugar. It may be necessary to soften the cream cheese first. Separate evenly between the two Graham crust crusts. Cook at 350 ° F for 20 minutes.
- Layer 2: Mix 16 ounces of cream, 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of vanilla. Remove the top layer and allow it to cool slightly before adding the second layer between the two cheesecakes.
- Increase the oven temperature to 375 ° F and cook for another 10 minutes. Let it cool in the refrigerator and try not to eat it at all.
